The public is invited to attend a community meeting for the Stockton--Washington Corridor – Downtown Transit & Accessibility Project. The project seeks to place transit stops on either Stockton Street or S. Washington Street, with additional pedestrian and signal improvements along the streets and at the intersection. Two alternatives will be presented for the project improvements and transit locations. The first alternative is to place transit facilities along Stockton Street west of Green Street and the second alternative is to place transit facilities along S. Washington Street north of Church St. Both alternatives include modification to the existing signal and enhancing pedestrian safety and access through the project area. Design options for the transit shelters will also be presented.
