State Transit Assistance Funds (STAF)

The State Transit Assistance Funds (STAF) is derived from the statewide sales tax on gasoline and diesel fuel. Statue requires that 50% of STAF funds are allocated according to population and 50% are allocated according to operator revenues from the prior fiscal year.
